Every tool on FreePixel operates using client-side JavaScript and the HTML5 Canvas API. When you open an image, compress it, resize it, or apply any effect, all of that processing happens directly on your device — inside your browser tab.

No image data is ever sent to our servers. We have no servers that receive image data. FreePixel has no backend image processing pipeline. What you see in your browser is what happens — nothing more.

We collect minimal information necessary to operate and improve the site. We do not collect personally identifiable information, and we never sell data to third parties.

• Analytics: We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which tools are used and how visitors navigate the site. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
• Advertising: We display ads via Google AdSense to keep FreePixel free. Google may use cookies for ad personalisation. You can opt out via Google's ad settings.

You can use every FreePixel tool without creating an account or providing any personal information. Because we process no image data server-side, there is no image data to request, export, or delete.
